Maybe it's just because I'm a retail buyer but I don't see anything wrong with Hot Topic. The company is actually doing pretty okay as a whole. They know how to market themselves and their merch to the right markets and if I were in a band in this economy, I would totally go to their buying team and beg and plead for them to carry my line.

first crap fonts for the new iamx and patrick wolf records, that horrible redesign for tropicana and sierra mist..now this! is this the year of poor design or what!? no hard views for or against hot topic, but this design is really lousy.

i don't get why everyone is acting too cool for hot topic when i can bet most of us have at least set foot in that store before...

but still, not digging the design. i want them to just come out with a shirt that says "i bent over for the fbi and took it like a man" concerning this alleged president nonsense
